Volunteers at work
The activity around the church building does not end with the locking of the doors on Sunday! Throughout the week, volunteers may be found tending to the various needs of the church family both inside and out.
On Monday, Chris Johnson (with supervision from dad, Warren Johnson) began the task of keeping the church grass trimmed and appealing to passerby and guests.
On Wednesday, Belinda Alkula came by to run the vacuum in the sancutary (and other spaces) in preparation for Friday's funeral service for Thurma Gibbins. Also hard at work were Marilee Rowan who spruced up the "round table" room for the UMW circles to meet in. Not to be out-done, Dan Rowan could be found in the fellowship hall assembling shelves for use in the upcoming rummage sale.
Plenty of chores available for all ages, come on by and see how you can make your church even better!
