Prayers are asked for the Sayler family

Please be in prayer for Verna Sayler and her family on the news of the tragic death of her grandaughter, Angelee Goranson, from Peetz, CO.

KSID had the following news release this afternon:
Funeral arrangements are being made for a Peetz High School student-athlete killed in an Easter Sunday accident. Angelee Goranson, a 17-year-old Junior at PHS, was killed when the car she was driving was struck by a train at a private residence railroad crossing just west of Sidney Sunday evening. The crossing is north of the “T” at the intersection of Highway 30 and Highway 19. Details of the accident are still being investigated.

Gehrig-Stitt Chapel is working with the family on funeral arrangements.

Goranson worked at the Sidney Wal-Mart where co-workers are still coming to grips with her tragic death. She was an outstanding student, recently making “A” Honor Roll at school. She was also involved in athletics, and enjoyed a strong season for the Lady Bulldog volleyball team. She scored 19 points in a match against Prairie High School last October and was terrific from the service line, going perfect from the stripe in back-to-back matches last season.
