Spring Rummage Sale - The Final Day!

The last day of the 2009 Spring Rummage Sale was the place to be in Cheyenne County this morning. The warmth of the fellowship (and coffee) inside was in stark contrast with the overcast sky (that yielded some light snow) outside!

Wayne Philips and Bob Balfour were hard at work all afternoon, hauling boxes of clothing, shoes, books and more that were being packed to the Balfour's horse trailer. Bob & Carrie Balfour are taking the items to the Navajo Ministries (in the Four Corners area). They'll be taking hundreds of pairs of shoes which should bring us close to the goal of 1,000 pairs (set by Bea Dinkel when she launched the "Shoes for the Navajo" project last year).
