Community Good Friday Service

The Cheyenne County Ministerial Association offered to the community a Good Friday worship service, hosted this year by Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (ELCA) and the Rev. Eric Meissner.

Archbishop Kyril McGowan (Holy American Orthodox Church) read the epistle lesson from the Letter to the Hebrews and the Gospel lesson, John 19:17-37. The Rev. Dr. Charles Alkula (First UMC - Sidney) and the Rev. Terry Tomlinson (Praire West Community Church - Potter) offered reflections on the Gospel lesson.

With special music and a receptive congregation, this year's Good Friday service offered an opportunity to come together and share our common faith. And what a faith we share!
