A blessed Holy Week to one and all! Here are some reminders about the rest of this week's events:
Tonight: S/PPRC @ 6:30 p.m., UMYF "run-through" for the Sunrise service - Committee Meetings @ 7:00 p.m. - Ad Board @ 8:00 p.m. (PLEASE NOTE: Confirmation Class Members will NOT be presenting their essays to the Ad Board tonoght. This has been changed to the May 13th Ad Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m.
Maunday Thursday (Tomorrow): Holy Communion Service @ 7:00 p.m. We will celebrate communion and then remember the events following our Lord's betrayal with a dramatic reading portraying a dialogue between Simon Peter and Judas Iscariot. (Note: There will be NO foot washing ritual this year).
Good Friday: Community Good Friday service at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2305 San Marino in Sidney.
Holy Saturday: Please pray for the church.
Easter Sunday: Sunrise Service @ 6:30 a.m. led by the youth group - a time of fellowship and food in the fellowship hall between worship services - a Celebration Worship Service @ 9:00 a.m. in the sanctuary with special music being provided this year! Please visit the church calendar for other events.
If you know of someone who have absented themselves from worship for any reason and for any length of time, please invite them to return to the faith and to community by participating with a repentant heart and a spirit yielded to the amazing love of God.
