Pre-Conference Meeting at FUMC

The "round table" room was the gathering place for one of the pre-conference meetings being held in the Great West District in the May. Seven parishes (made up of ten churches) were represented.

A preliminary schedule and other annual conference information is available online now at this link. The briefings covered the schedule of the session as well as information for first-time attendees. It was offered as the who, what, when, where and why of the upcoming Annual Conference Session.

The session was led by the Rev. Chad Anglemyere, Conference Director of Connection Ministries and the Rev. Nancy Tomlinson, who led everyone through consideration of two questions using holy conferencing techniques.

The Nebraska United Methodist Conference will hold its Annual Session June 9-13, 2009at the Cornhusker-Marriott Hotel in Lincoln. Children's Annual Conference will be held at Lincoln Saint Paul UMC as well as several of the Annual Conference Session worship services. Youth Annual Conference will be held on the campus of Nebraska Wesleyan University.
