The gentle breeze and sunny sky today in Sidney -- what a welcome change from the overcast skies of the past few days.
Carrie Balfour, with grandson Van, accompanied Pastor Charles to the Memorial Health Center to celebrate Holy Communion with the residents. We were blessed to sing hymn, read scripture, offer prayers and to share the Lord's Supper with 14 of the residents. Kristina Spriggs is in training to be a nurse, and she stopped by and shared a moment with us: What a treat!
The Johnson's were found tending to the church lawn this morning. Nothing smells quite so sweet as freshly mown grass!
We are blessed to share today with one another and with our awesome God!
