It was GIRL SCOUT SUNDAY today! What fun it was to have around 25 girls join us at the 8:00 a.m. worship service!Our Pastor Charles has been sick since Wednesday! When he called Rilla Draper and Arlene Christensen yesterday to ask them to deliver the message at the worship services this morning, they didn't hesitate to say "yes."
Last night, 60 Girl Scouts and their adult leaders had a sleepover at the church. (God bless those adult leaders!) The last picture shows the Girl Scouts poster which they all signed... as their thank you to the church for allowing them to have their sleepover there.
Many thanks to Bonnie Thompson for serving as lector this morning. And we so appreciate Nan Mull's musical offerings!
Praise be to God for a wonderful time of worship!
