It has been a busy week already here at the First UMC in Sidney and it is only Tuesday!
Sunday was a full day with worship, studies, and fellowship taking place from early morning to late in the evening.
We were thrilled on Sunday to be able to announce the establishment of the "Prayer Shawl Incubator" in room 201. Rilla Draper organized the yarn in such a way that everything needed for the knitting or crocheting of shawls is ready for pick-up.
We are also taking sign-ups for Vacation Bible School (VBS) in June. This year we are co-sponsoring "Crocodile Dock" with Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and are excited about the prospects of having 125-150 children in church the week of June 14-18!
The Chocolate for Lent study is on-going and we are having so much fun learning and sharing the delicious chocolate! Come join us next Sunday evening at 6pm.
