First Sunday in Lent

Thanks to Michael Sukup for serving as both lector and communion server at the early service. Norma Long filled that role during the second service. William Draper had his first experience as an acolyte. He did an excellent job, and we can look forward to more good things from this young man. Pastor Charles received some special correspondence from one of the Sunday School classes, which was a delightful surprise for him.

The evening had something for everyone as the Lenten study, "Chocolate for Lent" began, and the UMYF continued their study of science and faith.

What a great day to be in God's house with others wanting to share in the journey with us!
