The Threads of Freindship Quilt Guild was hard at work today (Wednesday is their regular meeting day) and what work they were doing!
Lois Thayer's family brought a large quantity of fabric and other items to be used by the Guild. Lois was a long-time friend and supporter of this ministry. In addition to the sorting of the donated material, two quilts are in process including one for Bea Dinkel, a former First UMC member. In the bottom picture, Marge Sabin stands next to Bea's quilt.
Stop by Wednesdays and see for yourself what all the fun is about! The group, which includes one man, Leroy Virgil, also breaks around noon for a potluck, visit us soon!
