The UMW this week

The ladies of the First United Methodist Church were very busy this week and their church is happy they were!

The Faith Stitcher's are the beneficiaries of the work Rilla Draper did in sorting out the yarn for the prayer shawl ministry. Please visit their new web page today, and see for yourself or stop by room 201. Prepare to be amazed!

The evening circle and the morning circle also met this week, and the fellowship and learning were up to the usual high standards these ladies have set. One of the UMW members has read all 21 books from this year's UMW Reading Program! What a great witness! Carol Mason gave a wonderful presentation at the evening UMW circle meeting.

This afternoon, Belinda Alkula, Carrie Balfour, Arlene Christensen, Judy Rosenbaum, Bonnie Thompson and Rosalie Wilson got together to assemble the necessary items for the Lenten brunch tomorrow following the 10:00 a.m. service. You won't want to miss the result of these efforts!
