Maundy Thursday Service

Tonight the church was the setting for a special time of worship.

We began with a foot-washing ritual in the Prayer Room. It was a very special time as socks and shoes were shed and feet were made bare. The confirmation class participated as well, bringing fresh water and towels for the disciples.

The Maundy Thursday communion and Tenebrae service which followed took place the chapel. The service, always a special moment in the life of the church, took on the added feeling of a family as the youth assisted throughtout the service.
