7 March 2008 marked the annual observance of the World Day of Prayer. The focus this year was on the women of Guyana (in South America) and the celebration, which included a slide show, music and prayers, was a real joy to witness.
The observance in Sidney took place at the First Christian Church and included several women from the FUMC UMW unit.
Next year the observance will take place at the Light Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sidney.
