A New Day at Camp Comeca

Pastor Charles and Belinda attended the retreat of the covenant community at Camp Comeca starting Thursday afternoon, and a special time of reflection it was.

Centering on the attitude called for in the Advent season, the group considered the need for hope in a world that needs the lessons taught by the Christ and accepted by His followers.

This morning, we listened to several prayers from Lady Deborah Cassidi's book, "Favourite Prayers." One of the prayers really struck the group:

When you were created there was a silence in heaven for five minutes.
Then God spoke and said, "Why didn't I think of that before?"

We are all unique creations of a loving God; may God's grace be with you today.
