Sunday - July 6, 2008

A splendid start to July was ours this morning with music, communion and more.

Boy Scout Troop #425 from Sherrard, IL, stayed overnight in our fellowship hall on Saturday night and left very early on Sunday morning. A prayer shawl was presented to them (in the Scout colors) to take back to their church's pastor in Illinois.

The Ladies Choir from Sidney's LDS Church brought a wonderful musical offering and we could have listened to them for hours. At the end of the service, John and Beth Sweeney, who are moving this month to Torrington, WY, were presented with prayer shawls from the church which had been loving made by Bea Dinkel and Arlene Christensen.

Our fellowship time continues to offer everyone an opportunity to share with one another and is always a highlight of any Sunday. Grace Draper led the way, showing everyone how to be comfortable at play in her church!
