Summer is in full-swing here at First UMC in Sidney! The morning worship service focused on the passage from I John 5:1-12, "How do we walk in the Light?" Tim Williams brought a lovely musical offering and the fellowship after the service was a treat for all.
New in the Welcome Center this morning was a new banner, "Making Disciples to Transform the World." This banner was given to each church at Annual Conference in June and captures the purpose of our church.
Marilee Rowan made a display about love which everyone noted as they entered the church building.
The UMYF had a display table seeking support for their mission project to St. Louis. It looked like they were able to gather a good deal of prayer and financial support for their trip at the end of July.
