We laid to rest a member of First United Methodist Church today, Elwood "Woody" Lostroh. A service was held which recognized his long association with the First UMC, the Elks, the Masons and 4-H club.
The Wesley Four provided special vocal music. Family friend Steve Mattoon read the obituary and Dustin Brauer (from Sloan Estates) read a memory from Elwood and Elva's time at Sloan.
A graveside tribute was then held at the Greenwood Cemetery with the American Legion providing the color guard and a bugler.
