Yesterday we were visited by Janet Lewis who is a United Methodist Church-sponsored missionary in Palestine. She gave a very informative talk to the United Methodist Women's Group at the church.
After a time of refreshments, we gathered in the Prayer Room to present Janet with one of our prayer shawls, along with prayers for safe travel and continued success in her ministry. Janet really was touched by the gesture!
Last night, she stayed with Pastor Charles & Belinda in the parsonage. After so much time on the road she appreciated sleeping in a home for a change!!
As the hymn goes, "Whom Shall I Send? .... It is I, Lord!"
Praise be to God for faith-filled folks who are willing to go where God calls them to go!
