World Communion Sunday at FUMC

We celebrated World Communion Sunday at First UMC with music, laughter and more! This weekend was Oktoberfest here in Sidney, and there was a number of guests who made attending worship and sharing fellowship a part of their time while in Sidney.

The music was wonderful. The fellowship time goodies were fantastic. The conversations heard throughout the building had a special "buzz" about them.

The confirmation class took part in the 10:00 a.m. service today, signing a covenant to participate in the classes ahead through their prayers, presence, gifts and service. It was imporant for them to sign this covenant in front of the congregation, so they would understand the importance of the commitment they were about to make.
